Thank you! I always fight with manes and tails for a ridiculous amount of time before I'm okay with how they look :P

No problem! I can tell. They're gorgeous! lol. :glomp:

Just curious, did you use any helpful tuts when you were learning your manes and tails? I'm always on the lookout, but then again I haven't done manipulation for a month or so. XD

No, I didn't use any tutorials. I developed my method from trial and error (lots of error, lol) & some helpful tips from a Photoshop class I was in last semester. I may put together a tutorial one of these days!

Oh, cool! Originality is usually the tougher way, but it's better in the end. xD
But yeah, that'd be great! It would help a lot of artists. <3

How long have you been doing manipulations?

I've been tinkering around in Photoshop since I was around 17 (I'm 22). I'm going to school for Communication Design, so I spend quite a bit of time working in Photoshop for class-related stuff (and the occasional freelance job). This is actually the first horse-related manip I've completed since 2009. :)

Serious? That's so awesome!! I really want to go to school for something with computer technology also, perhaps website design or something, I'm not sure. 8) But I also love photography.. xD
Hmm so you haven't made an equine manip for 2 years and you can come up with something as amazing as this?! That's true talent. :D

If you're interested in anything Communication Arts related, you should give it a shot! I still don't know exactly what I want to do and I'm less than 2 years away from graduating. My advice to you: start looking at work. Magazines, books, blogs... The director of my school's Comm. Arts program is always saying, "deepen your visual well." lol. Communication Arts is a great magazine ([link]).

I love photography too. :) Design & Photo are very closely related in some ways.. it isn't difficult to double major in the two if you're at a school that offers both. My major is Communication Design (I tend to specialize in Photoshop work and web development), but I take Photography classes when I can. With or without a degree, I'll always pursue Equine Photography.

Even though I haven't done an equine manip in 2 years, I do work with Adobe products on a near-daily basis.. :P

Whoa.. I wrote a novel..
